Studio remodel continues…

This week, the remodel of my home studio continues. While it’s been awesome to watch the progress of the studio, it’s also been extremely frustrating to have been out of my creative space for so long! It looks like it’ll be another week, and then I’ll be able to get back to work….can’t come soon enough for me 🙂

Here is a little slide show of the progress so far. Our contractor is doing a great job! Although we tell him repeatedly that it’s only a basement studio, he keeps up the quality of craftsmanship. So much so that it’s looking nicer than the already finished side of our basement!

Without further ado… we’ve gone from bare insulation to framed walls to drywall with texture. This week, will be painting, both of the walls and the concrete floor.

One more small item of interest I’d like to share is the neat pic my son created. It was taken on a snowshoe hike in the Rockies and manipulated with Photoshop so that the color in the background was removed and the color in the berries highlighted. Simple, but fun to do & pretty cool!
